Attorney Mark L. Pearson attended Louisiana Tech where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 1984. Mr. Pearson then attended Mississippi College School of Law where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1990. Attorney Pearson was then admitted to practice law in all State Courts of Mississippi; United States District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi; United States Court of Appeals; United States Supreme Court.
Attorney Mark L. Pearson has maintained a private law practice in the State of Mississippi since 1990, specializing in the areas of plaintiff's personal injury, negligence, wrongful death, products liability, mass tort litigation and federal criminal defense. Attorney Pearson has pursued and settled cases involving large pharmaceutical companies, such as the manufacturers of Stadol, Lotronex, and FenPhen. Attorney Pearson is currently pursuing claims against the manufacturers of Vioxx©, Celebrex©, Bextra©, and Oxycontin©.
In addition to maintaining his law practice, Attorney Pearson also lectures on different subjects concerning plaintiff's personal injury for the National Business Institute (i.e. "Trying the Wrongful Death Case in Mississippi" and "Adjusting the Automobile Injury Claim in Mississippi").
Attorney Pearson is actively involved in the preservation of our civil justice system. As such, he is a Lifetime Member of the Mississippi Association for Justice, where he previously served on the Board of Governors for three (3) years. Attorney Pearson is also a member of the American Association for Justice, the Mississippi Bar Association, the Hinds County Bar Association, and the Fifth Circuit Bar Association.
